FiberStrike® Strain, Tension & Temperature Sensors
Multiple sensor types address a broad range of structural monitoring parameters:
Strain and Temperature Sensors (FBG). They provide continuous and valuable data on strain and tension in steel members (open or in concrete), temperature, curing, stability, wind loads, and effects of seismic activity or nearby excavations/erosion. They may be integrated and used as part of a permanent structural health monitoring system.
Brainy Bolts (LCM-200). They allow continuous measurement of elongation and tension on a structural fastener in any location.
Accelerometers. They are used for monitoring of wind- and traffic-induced acceleration and instantaneous loads and for monitoring of vibrational modes, effects of seismic activity or nearby construction activities.
Rotary and Linear Position Sensors (LCM-300, LCM-350). They are useful for monitoring bridge expansion joints and moveable sections.
Interlock Switches (LCM-600). They have been created for intrusion detection at access portals such as hatchways, manholes and hand-holes. They are also ideal for high EMI/RFI industrial environments requiring many open-close measurement points, or any other locations where knowledge of many go/no-go contact states in a network is required.
